Each Saturday horse racing fixture brings top-class racing to Berkshire, including the prestigious Listed August Stakes . The August Stakes was upgraded to a Listed race in 2004 and is run over 1m3f with an increased total prize pot of £60k for 2026. Previous winners of the race have gone on to Group success including Godolphin's Beautiful Romance, 2021 winner Teona who went on to win the Group 1 Prix Vermeille, and 2018's Desert Encounter who went on to Grade 1 success in Canada and took the Group 3 Winter Hill the following year. The 2025 winner was Arabian Crown for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin. Could Constitution Hill be this year's star and prove himself in listed company?
