Ahead of the inaugural Berkshire Winter Million weekend, Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jimmy Wallace as Executive Director of Royal Windsor Racecourse.
Jimmy, who officially started his new role on Monday 6th January, has a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the Sport and Leisure sector both in the UK and Asia primarily across golf and, rugby, as well as the London Olympic Games in 2012. For the last 11 years he has been at the helm at Richmond Athletic Ground, the home of Richmond Rugby and London Scottish RFC, and host to a variety of multi-sport and large-scale corporate events.
In his new role, Wallace will lead the strategic direction of Royal Windsor Racecourse, focusing on enhancing its operations and commercial appeal, expanding audience engagement, and continuing its tradition of delivering exceptional racing, hospitality and entertainment experiences. He will work closely with the racecourse’s management team, key stakeholders and partners to further elevate the venue's status as one of the UK’s premier racecourses.

A total of 25 fixtures will take place at Royal Windsor in 2025, beginning with the inaugural Berkshire Winter Million in partnership with Ascot on the 17th -19th January, which promises three days of top-tier National Hunt racing. The Flat season commences in April and runs until September and will see the return of popular Monday Night Racing, Family Fun Days and the Summer Saturdays series.
