After years of anticipation, jumps racing returns to Royal Windsor Racecourse this Sunday 15th December 2024. Back after 20 years, this historic occasion is not one to pass up. With high-octane action on track, and festive, family fun on-course, this day promises a fun and enjoyable outing for all.
Jumps Racing Returns tickets are available online ahead of the event. Booking in advance saves you money off the on the gate price. Kids aged 17 and under attend for free, and we ask a free children’s admission ticket is claimed before checking out.

Christmas Jumper Competition will run throughout the day before the grand final in the Winner’s Enclosure after the 3rd race (approx. 1:30pm).

There’s plenty for everyone to enjoy alongside the epic racing.
Windsor Light Cavalry will be here to welcome you through the gates, before walking the jockeys to and from the parade ring for racing.
Not only will the Cavalry welcome you, but be entertained by our live brass band upon entry. They will play another set 12-12:45pm
Still yet to get someone a Christmas gift? We’ve got pop-up festive shopping stalls including Butterfly Hats, Liz Armstrong Art, Country Clothing and more.
We’ll also be joined by Fairfax and Favor who will host a pop up in The Tack Room. Learn more about their private shopping experiences and much more.
For those bringing the little ones along, get involved with Christmas Card decorating in our kids craft zone, situated in Ronnie’s Bar.

The Windsor Rock Choir will be on site with a range festive jingles and popular hits.
Our resident musician Dan Blackmore will also be on-site to keep you entertained throughout the day.
Last but by no means least, Father Christmas is here all the way from the North Pole from 11am-3pm! Santa will roam throughout the racecourse, including in hospitality and general admission areas. Meet Santa, receive a festive treat and say hello to his elves!

General Admission
For general admission tickets, please head to the turnstiles next to our Racecourse Reception. Have your ticket at the ready for smooth entry.
Fancy upgrading your admission ticket? We are delighted offer upgrades into our Royal Club area. Whilst we are looking to have a sunny day, escape the winter chill with a designated indoor, heated area. Enjoy a drink and a bite to eat, all for £49. Don’t forget, kids under 18 attend for free. Please purchase them a free ticket on our website ahead of the day.
Hospitality Admission
Hospitality guests should enter the racecourse through our Club Entrance turnstiles. Please have your ticket ready to scan for smooth entry.
Please note bars in the our hospitality areas will close half an hour after the last race.
Parking & Traval
Parking on site
We have plenty of parking available to accommodate all racegoers, however do recommend car sharing where possible to minimise congestion. Please be aware parking is on soft standing areas.
For accessible parking, please speak to our stewards on the day who will guide you to the first-come-first-serve hard standing parking.

Important Information re. French Brothers Riverboat
Unfortunately, the French Brothers riverboat to and from Windsor town centre will not be running due to fast tide and deemed unsafe. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but the safety of our racegoers is paramount. Royal River Ticket holders will receive an automatic refund for the boat element of their ticket.
Food & Drink
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving tasty festive treats and drinks., from mulled wine to mince pies. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.
Please note, bars and outlets will close half an hour after the last race.
Security
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.

Payment
Please remember, the majority of food outlets and bars are card only. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
Dogs
With the exception of Assistance Dogs, dogs are not permitted to enter the racecourse. In the interests of animal welfare, no dogs are permitted to be left in cars and we politely request that all dogs are left at home.
