Royal Windsor Racecourse is delighted to announce that Frimley Health Charity has signed a partnership deal to be the title sponsor of the racecourse’s Rock at the Races on Monday 5 August 2019.
Frimley Health Charity exists to enhance patient care at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust providing support that is above and beyond the NHS budget, making patient care and comfort better by raising funds for enhanced facilities and medical equipment. Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has three main hospitals - Wexham Park near Slough, Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley, and Heatherwood in Ascot.
Frimley Health Charity provides life-changing equipment and services for sick and vulnerable people, from ensuring that hard-working nurses have the best possible training and opportunities to cutting edge technology like Holmium lasers which provide the best treatment for benign prostate enlargement. By diagnosing and treating more complex problems at your local hospital, they are helping to keep families closer to home at an incredibly difficult time.
Frimley Health Charity works hard with the hospitals to ensure that the charity is not plugging the gaps. The support they provide genuinely enhances the healthcare available to the local community in a way that would not otherwise be possible.
Fundraising Manager at Frimley Health Charity, Anthony Kerslake said “We are delighted to have such a great partnership with Royal Windsor Racecourse for our charity race night. We receive so many positive and wonderful comments from all that attend the event which has proved to be a huge success. The food is fantastic, the drinks are flowing and the staff all exemplary. Royal Windsor Racecourse is such a fantastic venue for any event that is equally matched by its fantastic and attentive staff.”
Racing Commercial Manager at Royal Windsor Racecourse, Lisa Connolley said, ‘’We are delighted to welcome Frimley Health Charity back for their second year here at Royal Windsor Racecourse. The funds that they raise make a real difference to the lives of many in the local community and we are proud to be once again working in partnership with Anthony and the team.”
