Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Johnson as Executive Director of Windsor Racecourse. This appointment sees Liam transition from his current position as Executive Director of Bath Racecourse which he’s held since April 2020. In this time Liam has helped successfully steer Bath during the turbulent covid impacted season with fixtures being cancelled or held behind closed doors. However, many fantastic events were held once spectators were permitted to return in May 2021, including Ladies Day in August, the Kaiser Chiefs Live After Racing, and a sell-out Fireworks Display.
Liam has vast amounts of experience having spent six years at Jockey Club Racecourses, including four years as the General Manager of Huntingdon Racecourse, prior to joining Arena Racing Company. Outside of racing, Liam worked at the Sports and Leisure Group in an operations management capacity as well as at Nottingham Forest Football Club.

A total of 26 fixtures will take place at Windsor in 2022 with highlights including Windsor’s famous Gentlemen’s Day on the 25th of June, along with The Madness live after racing on the 26th of August and other live music events! Liam has officially started his position at Windsor in January 2022 and is continuing to assist the team at Bath in the interim.
