Be in the know and be prepared ahead of of visiting us on Friday for Madness Live in Concert by taking a read of our frequently asked questions about the event below:
- Are tickets still available? No, we are now officially SOLD OUT for Madness Live in Concert on Friday 26 August. Tickets may become available on third-party resale sites but please ensure these are trusted resale routes before purchasing. We will not be selling tickets at the racecourse on the day.
- Will there be racing at this event? There will be no racing taking place before Madness, this is a standalone concert.
- What time do gates open? Gates open at 16:30. We advise that music-goers arrive no earlier than 16:30 to avoid congestion and queues. Please be aware that bag searching will operate at the entrances.
- Can I bring a chair and/or picnic? We do not permit picnics or chairs being brought on site by attendees. We have a variety of concessions available at the racecourse for you to purchase food and drink from. A limited number of seats will be available in front of the racecourse grandstand alongside a priority seating area. However, please note that this is an outdoor standing event.
- Can I bring a water bottle? One 500ml sealed water bottle is permitted per person. These can be refilled at one of our refill stations around the site.
- Can I get a boat to the racecourse? There will be no French Brothers boat shuttles running on this day. The best way to get to the racecourse for the concert will be via train/car/bus. Please visit our Get Here page for details on travelling to and from the racecourse.
- Where can I park? We have ample free parking in the Balloon Meadow Car Parks, located on either side of the main driveway. Accessible parking is available in the M Car Park, opposite the Grandstand Entrance. Stewards will be on site to direct you to the appropriate parking sites and signage will be present.
- Where can I get dropped off and picked up from? The drop off and pick up zones will be located at the main entrance to the racecourse.
- Who will be supporting Madness? Madness will be joined by supporting acts; Soul II Soul, The Dualers & Prince Fatty and The Horseman.
- Can I upgrade my ticket? We have limited spaces left in the Sprint Bar, located in the Grandstand. The upgrade includes a welcome drink (beer, house wine or soft drinks), a pizza and access to private restrooms. Please call the hub to book your upgrade on 01342 831 792.
- Can I buy merchandise? Madness will be selling official merchandise on site at this event.
